What is ZAPR?
ZAPR is a plug-in flying-insect trap. Blue light attracts flying insects toward a replaceable adhesive card inside the device, where they are trapped. Use ZAPR indoors and follow the instructions supplied with your device.
What kind of flying insects does ZAPR trap?
ZAPR packaging identifies flies, fruit flies, moths and gnats, as well as other flying insects attracted to the light. Results can vary with placement and the surrounding environment.
Which plug does ZAPR use, and where can I use it?
ZAPR uses a UK-style Type G three-pin plug. The supplied model is rated AC 100–240V, 50–60Hz and plugs directly into standard UAE Type G sockets. Outside the UAE, confirm the local socket type and electrical requirements before use.
Where should I place ZAPR?
Use ZAPR indoors in a suitable wall outlet where the device remains unobstructed. Follow the supplied placement and safety instructions, including guidance about water and other unsuitable locations.
When should I replace the adhesive card?
Check the adhesive card regularly. Replace it when a substantial amount of insects has collected on the card or as directed by the product instructions. Handle used cards carefully and wash your hands after replacement.
Can I use ZAPR around children, pets or food?
Use ZAPR only as directed. Keep the device and adhesive card out of reach of children and pets, and avoid locations where the device or card could come into contact with food or water.
